A question we've all got is: how are the generations going to deal with a world that's falling apart? Ailton Krenak
Education is about thinking of how we can save the future. There is no agenda more urgent than this one. Faced with an increasingly worrying scenario of Earth's degradation, we are the generation that can be the turning point for the planet. There's still time to change. For that, it's essential for all of us to be aware that we are connected on this shared planet, and it's urgent that we learn to work and dream together.
We want to connect with educators who are committed to making new changes, seeking new futures. A pact for transformation through Education. And this needs to start in EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION.

It's no use discussing the paths of humanity's future in universities or big tech companies if the children are not included in the discussion.
We believe in the potential of early childhood, and that's where we want to invest.
To respond to Ailton Krenak's provocation, we had to link it to three questions that UNESCO asked in its report launched in 2022 called “Reimagining the Future Together 1”: What should we continue doing? What should we stop doing? What should we creatively reinvent?
This last question troubled us. What should we creatively rethink? For years, we've discussed in schools the proposals of the four pillars of Education: learning to know, to do, to live together, and to be. They remain relevant, even twenty-five years later. But we can revisit them creatively with new proposals, new formats, and challenges.
Krenak, again him, gave us the clue: “to postpone the end of the world, we need to keep telling stories.”
EUREKA! That's it.

The main raw material of any work at Thomas Maker, Casa Thomas Jefferson's innovation hub is imagination. And in Early Childhood Education, developing and expanding children's imaginations must be a priority.
That's why we've created what we call the “Press the PLAY! LAB for Maker Readers.” It's a blend of two trends in Education: Maker Culture and Elastic Readings. Through stories, we stretch children's thinking to live immersive full-body experiences. There's no separation between doing-feeling-thinking. It's all together and mixed. It's PLAY!
And that's what we want to present to you! The children are going to stretch everything... and the teachers too!
Shall we?
